Surgery Scheduler, OPAlaska Anchorage Orchestra —Full Time Salary Range: $19.00 – $30.00 hourly Benefits Complimentary orthopedic and primary care at OPA and PCA Medical and dental insurance coverage beginning within 30 days Life insurance Disability insurance 401K Profit sharing Employee Assistance Program Paid time off starting at three weeks per year Competitive pay and annual compensation reviews Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Your Role at OPA As a Surgery Scheduler at OPA you will contribute to the team by ensuring patient surgical needs are met. You will work collaboratively with surgeons, medical staff, and patients to schedule surgical appointments. What You’ll Do Work primarily with surgeons, medical staff, and patients to obtain a surgery date and schedule all components of surgery. Answer patient calls and follow up with patients. Handle multiple interruptions during the day while maintaining a high volume of surgery orders. Why You’ll Excel Thrives in a fast‑paced work environment and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of clinical experience. Ability to understand medical charts and diagnosis for billing purposes. Experience using electronic health records (EHR) software.
