Are you ready to join a growing team?
CTG is seeking a Scrum Master II to provide servant-leadership and mentorship to multiple cross-functional agile teams. You will coach teams in Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices, foster self-organization, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement, and ensure impediments are addressed while keeping stakeholders informed.
Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Coach teams on agile practices including user stories, TDD/ATDD, story mapping, and continuous integration.
Promote continuous improvement and foster a high-performing team culture.
Address blockers beyond team authority and escalate as needed.
Collaborate with other Agile Leaders to improve Agile adoption across the organization.
Mentor less experienced Scrum Masters and facilitate learning opportunities.
Maintain internal control standards and adhere to risk/regulatory policies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years on an agile team, including 2+ years as a Scrum Master, or equivalent experience.
Scaled Agile experience, PI Planning, and Risk Management expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in multiple technology team roles (PM, UX, BA, Developer, Tester).
Knowledge of Agile/Lean principles, Design Thinking, and digital capabilities.
Strong verbal and written communication; proven ability to lead through influence.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
