File Clerk Opportunity In Indianapolis

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented File Clerk to assist with a project in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a contract position that involves reorganizing and transferring physical files to meet the needs of the workspace. The ideal candidate will have experience with file management and document handling.

Responsibilities:

• Reorganize and transfer physical files from existing boxes to new containers.
• Ensure all files are properly labeled and stored in an organized manner.
• Handle filing cabinets and pallets to optimize the workspace effectively.
• Scan documents for digital storage and maintain accurate electronic records.
• Collaborate with team members to complete the project within the designated timeline.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment during the file transfer process.
• Use proper lifting techniques to handle boxes and filing materials safely.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with paper filing and document organization.
• Ability to handle and move file boxes safely and efficiently.
• Proficiency in scanning and electronic filing methods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling and organization.
• Physical capability to lift and move boxes as required.
• Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines.
